Job summary

Sureserve is recruiting experienced Solar PV Electricians for Edinburgh projects. You will install, repair and maintain Solar PV, Battery Storage and ASHP systems, inspecting and certifying electrical work on site. A strong safety discipline and full UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in installing, maintaining and testing electrical installations.
• Qualified to current wiring regulations and safe working practices.
• Full UK driving licence and a strong health & safety focus.
• Recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds/SVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Valid ECS or CSCS card holders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, service and maintain Solar PV, Battery Storage and ASHP systems.
• Inspect, test and certify electrical works including fixed wiring.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults on-site.
• Carry out site-specific risk assessments and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs and certification.

Job description

We're growing and looking for experienced Solar PV Electricians to join us across in Edinburgh with a strong pipeline of long-term renewable energy projects, this is an opportunity to secure stable, local, permanent employment with excellent earning potential and career progression. The Role

• Installing, repairing, servicing and maintaining Solar PV, Battery Storage and Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) systems
• Inspecting, testing and certifying all electrical works, including fixed wiring circuits
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults on-site
• Carrying out site-specific risk assessments and following all health and safety procedures
• Maintaining accurate records of inspections, repairs, maintenance and certification

What We're Looking For

• Practical electrical installation experience, ideally within Solar PV and Battery Storage
• Recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds, SVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Valid ECS or CSCS Card
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Good working knowledge of current health and safety legislation
