Job summary

Sureserve is seeking an experienced Solar PV Electrician to join our Dundee team. The role involves installing and maintaining Solar PV, Battery Storage and ASHP systems on long-term renewable energy projects across the region.

Candidates should have practical electrical installation experience, hold City & Guilds/SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), 18th Edition, a valid ECS/CSCS card, and a full UK driving licence. UK work eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Electrical installation experience, preferably in Solar PV and Battery Storage.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations knowledge.
• Full UK Driving Licence and good health & safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, repair and maintain Solar PV, Battery Storage and ASHP systems.
• Inspect and certify electrical works including fixed wiring.
• Diagnose and fix faults on-site and carry out risk assessments.

Job description

We're growing and looking for experienced Solar PV Electricians to join us across in Dundee With a strong pipeline of long‑term renewable energy projects, this is an opportunity to secure stable, local, permanent employment with excellent earning potential and career progression. The Role

• Installing, repairing, servicing and maintaining Solar PV, Battery Storage and Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) systems
• Inspecting, testing and certifying all electrical works, including fixed wiring circuits
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults on‑site
• Carrying out site‑specific risk assessments and following all health and safety procedures
• Maintaining accurate records of inspections, repairs, maintenance and certification

What We're Looking For

• Practical electrical installation experience, ideally within Solar PV and Battery Storage
• Recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds, SVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Valid ECS or CSCS Card
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Good working knowledge of current health and safety legislation
