Job summary

PT Renewables is seeking an experienced Electrician with proven Solar PV experience to join our growing renewables team across South Wales. The role focuses on Solar PV installation, testing and commissioning, with involvement in ASHP projects.

You will deliver high-quality electrical installations, maintain safety and compliance, and support the electrical elements of renewable projects. A permanent position with a consistent workload and the opportunity to mentor an apprentice or mate is

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations compliance required.
• Proven Solar PV installation experience is essential.
• Full UK driving licence and ECS/CSCS card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installing, testing and commissioning Solar PV systems.
• Carrying out electrical works on renewables installations.
• Supporting electrical elements of ASHP projects when needed.
• Completing testing, inspection and relevant certification.
• Fault finding, remedial works and maintenance.
• Complying with BS 7671 and manufacturer requirements.
• Maintaining high health & safety standards on site.
• Mentoring an apprentice or electrical mate where possible.
