Job summary

Ganymede Energy is seeking an experienced Solar PV Electrician to support second fix electrical installations, testing and commissioning of Solar PV systems for new-build housing developments in the Wakefield area.

You will install and wire inverters and electrical equipment, perform remedial works as needed, and complete installation paperwork with clear handover information. A UK driving licence and relevant certifications are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) certification.
• Solar PV Certification.
• ECS Card.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication and a professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out second fix installation, testing and commissioning of renewable energy systems.
• Install and wire inverters and associated electrical equipment.
• Carrying out remedial works, repairs and maintenance where required.
• Completing installation paperwork and providing clear handover information.
