Job summary

Effective Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Renewables Electrician and Solar PV Installer to deliver high-quality domestic and commercial Solar PV and battery storage projects across the South East.

You will install, test and commission systems, fault find, maintain renewables, and support on-site installations with a focus on safety and compliance. NVQ Level 3 and 18th Edition are required, along with two years' electrical experience.

Qualifications

• Experience installing Solar PV and battery storage systems.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment.
• 18th Edition wiring regulation.
• Inspection & Testing qualification or strong testing experience.
• Minimum two years' post-apprenticeship electrical experience.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install, test and commission Solar PV and battery storage systems.
• Carry out electrical work across domestic and commercial projects.
• Lead and support installations on site.
• Fault find, maintain and optimise renewable systems.
• Complete electrical work for heat pump power supplies.

Renewables Electrician and Solar PV Installer

We are recruiting for an experienced Renewables Electrician and Solar PV Installer to join a growing renewable energy business delivering high-quality domestic and commercial projects across the South East.

As a Renewables Electrician and Solar PV Installer, you will take a hands-on role installing, testing and commissioning Solar PV and battery storage systems, while working alongside an experienced installation team.

The role

• Install, test and commission Solar PV and battery storage systems
• Carry out electrical work across domestic and commercial projects
• Lead and support installations on site
• Fault find, maintain and optimise existing renewable systems
• Complete electrical work associated with heat pump power supplies
• Complete testing, certification and compliance documentation
• Work across customer sites throughout the South East
• Maintain high standards of workmanship as a Renewables Electrician and Solar PV Installer

The successful Renewables Electrician and Solar PV Installer will need

• Previous Solar PV and battery storage installation experience
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment
• 18th Edition
• Inspection & Testing qualification or strong practical testing experience
• At least two years' post-apprenticeship electrical experience
• Full UK driving licence
• Comfortable working at height and outdoors
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A Renewables Electrician and Solar PV Installer who takes pride in delivering high-quality work

Package

• £45,000-£55,000 pro rata
