Job summary

Ganymede Energy in the UK is seeking a Solar PV Electrician to install, test and commission Solar PV systems across new-build housing developments. You will work with roofing and installation teams to deliver high-quality electrical installations safely and to standard.

The role requires NVQ3 electrotechnical, 18th Edition BS7671, Level 3 inspection and testing, and a full UK driving licence. You will perform wiring of DC/AC systems, commissioning, and remedial work while adhering to site health

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services or an equivalent qualification.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) required.
• Level 3 Inspection and Testing qualification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Installing and connecting Solar PV systems, including DC and AC cabling.
• Installing and wiring inverters, batteries and associated electrical equipment.
• Completing electrical testing, fault finding and commissioning.
• Carrying out remedial works, repairs and maintenance where required.
• Working safely at height and following all site health and safety requirements.
• Completing installation paperwork and providing clear handover information.
