Job summary

Ganymede Energy is recruiting an experienced Solar PV Electrician to deliver high-quality Solar PV installations across new-build housing developments in the UK. The role involves electrical installation, testing and commissioning, working with roofing and installation teams to ensure safety and quality.

Ideal candidates will hold NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services, 18th Edition BS 7671, and Level 3 Inspection and Testing, with previous experience installing solar PV systems and a full UK

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
• Level 3 Inspection and Testing qualification or equivalent
• Previous experience installing grid-connected or off-grid Solar PV systems
• Full UK driving licence
• Good communication skills and a professional approach
• Confidence working at height and alongside other trades

Responsibilities

• Installing and connecting Solar PV systems, including DC and AC cabling.
• Installing and wiring inverters, batteries and associated electrical equipment.
• Completing electrical testing, fault finding and commissioning.
• Carrying out remedial works, repairs and maintenance where required.
• Working safely at height and following all site health and safety requirements.
• Completing installation paperwork and providing clear handover information.
