Job summary

Ganymede Energy, partnered with the UK's leading Solar PV installer, is seeking an experienced Solar PV Electrician to deliver high-quality solar installations on new-build housing developments.

You will perform second fix electrical installation, testing and commissioning of PV systems, install inverters and related equipment, and complete paperwork with clear handover information.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services or equivalent qualification.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
• Solar PV Certification
• ECS Card
• Competent Person Scheme - NICEIC, NAPIT etc.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication skills and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out second fix installation, testing and commissioning of renewable energy systems.
• Installing and wiring inverters and associated electrical equipment.
• Carrying out remedial works, repairs and maintenance where required.

This is an excellent opportunity to contract long-term for a growing renewable energy business and play a key role in delivering high-quality Solar PV installations across new-build housing developments.

The Role:

As a Solar PV Electrician, you'll be responsible for the second fix electrical installation, testing and commissioning of Solar PV systems.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Carry out second fix installation, testing and commissioning of renewable energy systems
• Installing and wiring inverters and associated electrical equipment.
• Carrying out remedial works, repairs and maintenance where required.
• Completing installation paperwork and providing clear handover information.

The Package:

• Price Per Job: £300 - £500 per day

The Ideal Candidate:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services or an equivalent qualification.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• Solar PV Certification
