Solar Maintenance Electrician

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Alecto is partnering with a multi award-winning renewable engineering company in the South, currently looking to appoint a Solar Maintenance Electrician due to growth and expansion.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance (including HV maintenance) on solar plants to ensure ongoing operation.
2. Inspect and repair Solar PV systems, Solar Carports, Battery Storage Systems, and EV charging stations.
3. Work according to Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
4. Inspect and work on Solar PV arrays, including working on roofs.
5. Understand the dangers of working with Solar PV (DC power and principles).
6. Use good electrical knowledge to diagnose and fix faults in Solar PV systems.
7. Ensure safety when working at heights.
8. Work with 3-phase electrical equipment.
9. Compile reports from site visits.
