Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an Installation Engineer with solar PV experience to join a growing renewables business on a regional patch in the South West. You’ll install, commission and maintain solar PV systems across the Bristol area, work autonomously and benefit from a company vehicle and strong progression prospects.

The ideal candidate holds 18th Edition, has a full UK driving licence and solid electrical knowledge.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition qualification required.
• Hands-on solar PV system experience essential.
• Strong electrical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Valid UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain solar PV systems on the regional patch.
• Carry out fault-finding and diagnostics on solar equipment.
• Provide technical support to customers and installers.
• Ensure installations meet relevant electrical standards and safety requirements.
• Travel to customer sites across the patch using a company vehicle.
