Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Solar Installation Engineer to join a growing renewable energy business. You will install, commission and maintain solar PV systems across the South West from Bristol and surrounding areas, with autonomy and a clear path for progression.

The role offers £45,000-£55,000, company vehicle, benefits and a strong focus on technical development, along with on-going training and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on PV installation experience with 18th Edition.
• Able to carry out installations, fault-finding and testing.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain solar PV systems across the South West.
• Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics and technical troubleshooting on solar systems.
• Provide technical support to customers and installers on solar PV equipment.
• Complete electrical testing and ensure installations meet standards.
• Travel to customer sites across the regional patch using a company vehicle.
• Manage your own diary and workload with no on-call requirement.
