Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is supporting a rapidly growing renewable energy specialist to recruit a Solar Installation Engineer for a Bristol/South West regional patch. You will install, commission and maintain solar PV systems, perform fault-finding and diagnostics, provide technical support to customers and installers, and travel across the patch in a company vehicle.

• 18th Edition qualification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience as a Solar Installer or PV Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain solar PV systems across the South West.
• Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics and technical troubleshooting on solar systems.
• Provide technical support to customers and installers on solar PV equipment.
• Complete electrical testing and ensure installations meet relevant standards.
• Travel to customer sites across the regional patch using a company vehicle.
