Job summary

Climate17 is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to oversee solar assets across the UK and Europe, ensuring safety, quality and environmental performance while enhancing returns.

You will manage SPV contracts, monitor performance, optimise maintenance strategies and prepare asset reports. The role requires a STEM degree, 3+ years in solar asset management, and strong Excel/SQL skills. Hybrid working in Bristol with site visits and compliance focus.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM and 3+ years in solar Asset Management or related roles.
• Advanced Excel skills; macros, Visual Basic, Python or SQL are pluses.
• Experience interpreting mechanical/electrical drawings and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SPV contracts to ensure safety, environmental performance and compliance.
• Optimise project performance and monitor contractor SLAs.
• Review maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and ensure issue resolution.
• Identify KPIs and prepare regular asset management reports.
• Visit sites (max four per year per project) to assess status and conditions.
