The Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has opened within the Software Quality Assurance team for a Process Assurance Engineer to develop process-centric quality assurance skills. The successful candidate will support engineering teams on a variety of high-technology Defence programmes, ensuring software is developed and delivered to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting software quality assurance through adherence to processes and standards.
• Leading Project Quality Assessments, identifying risks, and contributing to monthly quality reporting.
• Building effective relationships across project and engineering teams.
• Influencing improvements and change when necessary.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and assurance requirements.

Requirements:

• Understanding of full software development lifecycle and quality assurance in a process-based environment.
• Knowledge of software processes and relevant standards.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to challenges.
• Degree in Engineering or related field, or relevant experience.
• Familiarity with configuration management, documentation, and requirements management tools is desirable.
