Quality Assurance Engineer, Amazon Payments - Unified Paying Experience Tech

The Amazon Payments Unified Paying Experience (UPX) Tech Team aims to deliver the best payment experience in the world! We are seeking a talented technical leader and craftsman to build robust, scalable software and intuitive client-facing features.

Our team develops highly customized and seamless payment experiences for global customers, utilizing technologies like Android, React Native, React JS, Cloud, and back-end systems to meet diverse needs. Our back-end systems ensure high availability, guaranteeing that customer orders are never lost or delayed, even during service disruptions.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer on the UPX Tech Team, you will collaborate with developers, product managers, and customer support to understand requirements, features, and customer usage models. You will develop and execute strategies to deliver high-quality software efficiently to our customers.

The ideal candidate has strong coding skills and a passion for Quality Assurance. You will test software manually and automate tests using various frameworks, understand software internals, debug issues, and contribute to design and coding phases. You will define quality gates, develop test automation, and identify test strategies based on features and markets.
