Job summary

Alliance Automotive Group (AAG) in the UK & Ireland is recruiting a Software Standards Manager to centralise software governance across multiple applications and platforms. You will bridge delivery teams with compliance, cyber and risk stakeholders, owning the application catalogue and overseeing vulnerability posture using SAST and monitoring tools.

Reporting into the Head of Digital & Internal Applications, you will deliver weekly updates and monthly governance scorecards, shaping risk

Qualifications

Proven experience in Agile/DevOps software engineering.
Strong SDLC, backlog management, and sprint planning.
Experience with vulnerability management and SAST tooling.
Ability to translate technical risk into actionable remediation plans.
Experience influencing engineering teams without direct authority.
Experience designing governance reporting for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Own centralised catalogue of internally developed applications and lifecycle status.
Drive centralisation of code repository management and governance.
Establish intake process for cyber and compliance needs.
Consolidate vulnerability findings from tools such as New Relic, Tenable, and other monitoring platforms.
Translate security and compliance findings into backlog items for Agile workflows.
Lead governance reporting and scorecards to senior stakeholders.
Reduce reactive reporting by structured governance communications.
