Job summary

Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency is seeking a Lead Cyber Security Risk Manager to identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks across the agency’s digital infrastructure. You will develop risk strategies and ensure alignment with government security standards.

The role requires deep knowledge of cyber risk frameworks and effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, with responsibilities spanning risk assessments, policy compliance, and incident response

Responsibilities

• Identify and mitigate cyber risks; advise risk owners to enable risk-based decisions.
• Lead cyber security risk assessments, threat assessments, and risk management activities.
• Provide tailored advice to remedy identified risks using standards and guidance.
• Ensure DVSA compliance with Security Policy Framework, NCSC CAF, and NIST.
• Lead incident response with the Head of Cyber Assurance and monitor DVSA systems.
