MBDA seeks a Software Engineering Level 6 Degree Apprentice in Stevenage for a four-year programme starting September 2027. You will study for a BSc (Hons) in Digital and Technology Solutions while rotating through MBDA Software teams on embedded and front-end projects.

The role combines university study with six 6-month placements in years 1–3 and a final year 12-month placement, onsite at MBDA. A £23,000 salary plus a £3,000 joining bonus is offered, with travel and study leave benefits.

Competenze

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English Language, Mathematics and a Science or Technology subject.
• A levels (total 120 UCAS points) with Mathematics OR Computing/CS and no grade below C; or a T Level in Engineering or Computing with Merit; or a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering Maths/Science/IT with required modules.

Mansioni

• Work in MBDA Software teams delivering next‑generation software for weapon systems.
• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle using languages such as C, C++, Java.
• Undertake multiple placements across departments and spend time onsite with MBDA and at the university.
