MBDA is offering a Mechanical Engineering Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship starting September 2027 at Stevenage, with a £23,000 salary and a £3,000 joining bonus. You will study for a BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering with placements across multiple streams and a final hands-on role in MBDA projects.

You’ll study onsite one day a week at University of Hertfordshire while completing placements in integration, engineering support, environmental and mechanical engineering streams.

Competenze

• Minimum five GCSEs including English Language, Maths and a Science or Technology subject.
• Three A Levels totalling 120 UCAS Tariff points, including Maths and a Technology or Engineering subject, with no individual grade below B.
• BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering with at least DDM, including a Distinction in Further Maths.

Mansioni

• Study onsite at University one day a week with MBDA placements tailored to the stream.
• There are four streams within the Mechanical Degree Apprenticeship: Integration and Missile Validation, Engineering Support, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
• Gain hands-on experience with instrumentation, sensors, data acquisition and test equipment during missile trials.
• Develop engineering skills using industry-standard tools and contribute to real MBDA projects.

Formazione

GCSEs: 5 GCSEs including English Language, Mathematics and any Science or Technology subject

A Levels: Three A levels total 120 UCAS points incl Maths and a Technology/Engineering subject (no grade below B)

BTECs: Level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering minimum grade DDM (dist in Further Maths)
