Job summary

Meta is seeking a Software Engineer to build and scale product experiences used by billions across Meta's apps. You will own the design and delivery of complex product features end-to-end, partnering closely with product management, design, data science, and infrastructure teams to ship high-quality, reliable software.

You will bring both technical depth and product thinking to your work, driving engineering decisions that directly improve user outcomes and advance the team's roadmap.

Qualifications

• Deep experience in optimizing applications where optimization to the system or hardware is essential.
• Experience with performance tracing and profiling tools such as RenderDoc and Perfetto.
• Experience building and shipping games, apps, or interactive experiences to production.
• Experience with CPU/GPU, memory, thermal, and networking constraints.
• Programming in C++, C#, Python, or shader languages.

Responsibilities

• Build product-grade applications and games.
• Develop high-fidelity, responsive experiences across devices.
• Optimize runtime resource usage (GPU/CPU/memory).
• Integrate with OS services like connectivity, notifications, and security.
• Lead end-to-end ownership of a component or system.
