Job summary

Meta is seeking engineers for its Central Integrity team to design AI-driven systems that detect and disrupt harm across platforms. You will collaborate with product, design, and operations to build advanced interfaces and scalable services, leveraging NLP and ML frameworks to ensure safe, responsible AI at a global scale.

You will lead major initiatives, mentor peers, and own end-to-end components while aiming for measurable impact through performance optimization and ethical AI practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE, or equivalent practical experience.
• Masters or PhD in CS or related field preferred.
• Experience driving change and leading complex technical projects.
• NLP techniques: preprocessing, tokenization, sentiment analysis.
• Experience with ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn.
• Commitment to responsible AI, bias mitigation, ethics reviews.
• Ongoing AI skill development (prompt engineering, agent orchestration).
• Ability to integrate AI tools to optimize workflows.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build innovative application experiences
• Implement custom user interfaces using latest programming techniques and technologies
• Analyze and optimize code for quality, efficiency, and performance, and provide feedback to peers during code reviews
• Set direction and goals for teams, lead major initiatives, provide technical guidance and mentorship
• Architect efficient and scalable systems that drive complex applications
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues, reduce technical debt
• Work on a variety of coding languages and technologies
• Establish ownership of components or systems with expert end-to-end understanding
