Job summary

Bauer Media Group is expanding its in‑house software engineering hub in Manchester. As a Software Engineer, you will build and maintain features for our audio platform, work closely with senior engineers, and take increasing ownership as the team scales.

You’ll contribute to CI/CD, testing, security, and incident management, while collaborating with product and technology peers. The role is permanent, hybrid with in-office presence twice a week in Manchester, and offers a collaborative,

Qualifications

• Experience in a product-led, agile software delivery environment.
• Familiarity with incident management or on-call responsibilities.
• Media, audio streaming, or consumer platform experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features and services across the platform, taking increasing ownership.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with squad members to improve architecture.
• Apply DevOps practices, CI/CD, and testing to ensure quality and reliability.
• Support the team through knowledge sharing and interviewing new engineers.
