Job summary

Client Server in London is seeking a strong Java backend developer with Kafka, AWS and PostgreSQL experience to join a scale-up software house working on a financial Tech for Good product. This role focuses on backend development and building features for the payment platform, gateway API and web portal, with opportunites to introduce emerging technologies.

The position offers a hybrid working model based in our London office with three days on-site and two days remote, and a salary package up

Qualifications

• Strong Java server-side development experience
• Good knowledge of messaging, including Kafka experience
• AWS experience
• Good knowledge of SQL, ideally PostgreSQL
• Experience with Kotlin, or keen to learn
• Collaborative and keen to work in a start-up environment
• Keen technologist who stays up to date with new and emerging technologies
• Likely to be degree educated, preferably in Computer Science
