Job summary

Boeing Defence United Kingdom Limited is seeking a Software Engineer to design and develop simulation models and software across defence domains. The role involves collaboration with UK teams, customers, and suppliers to deliver advanced simulation capabilities and integrate software with hardware systems.

The position requires a strong background in C++, scripting, and DO-178 related considerations, with an emphasis on test, verification, and certification processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering, engineering technology, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Designs, architects, and develops simulation models and visualizations for test and performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify simulation requirements.
• Perform design, modelling, simulation, testing and analysis for system performance.
• Document and maintain technical code, algorithms, and descriptions of simulation models.
• Integrate simulation software with hardware devices and systems.
• Adopt and improve integration processes and tooling.
