The role emphasizes collaboration, rapid development, and first-time quality, with opportunities to work across multiple programmes and future interests in other software domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering, engineering tech, CS or related field.
• Ability to obtain UK security clearance.
• Experience with DO-178 standards is preferred.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle in defence environments.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops simulation models, visualizations and environments.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to capture requirements for simulations.
• Performs modelling, testing and analysis to optimize system performance.
• Verifies and validates simulation software against data and benchmarks.
• Documents code, algorithms, and simulation models.
• Integrates simulation software with hardware and other systems.
