Job summary

Boeing United Kingdom Limited in Crawley is seeking an Associate Simulation Software Engineer to join the Commercial Simulation Binary team. You will generate, analyse, and test software that models aircraft systems and integrate components into a complete simulator.

The role requires a BSc or higher in engineering or computer science, strong knowledge of C/C++, and the ability to work in an agile global team onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
• Strong knowledge of C/C++ principles and practices
• Ability to interpret engineering math/physics and implement as software models/algorithms
• Ability to work in an agile development team and communicate complex software concepts

Responsibilities

• Generate, analyse, debugging, documenting and testing software that simulates aircraft systems
• Integrate software components into a fully functional system
• Develop and execute test procedures and document results
• Deploy software processes, tools and metrics
• Support qualifications of full flight simulators
• Assist in software integration/validation on local flight training devices
