Job summary

Boeing United Kingdom Limited is seeking an Associate Simulation Software Engineer to support Training Solutions and work onsite in Crawley. You will join the Commercial Simulation Binary team within SW Engineering, developing software that simulates aircraft systems and supports training devices.

The role requires a solid foundation in C/C++ and an ability to operate within an agile global team, with responsibilities spanning development, testing, integration, and verification of simulator

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• Strong knowledge of C/C++ principles and practices.
• Ability to interpret engineering math and physics concepts and implement as software models.
• Ability to work effectively in an agile development team and communicate complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Generating, analysing, debugging, documenting and testing software that simulates aircraft systems based on design documents.
• Integrating software components into a fully functional system.
• Developing and executing test procedures to ensure software requirements are met.
• Developing, selecting, and deploying software processes, tools and metrics.
• Supporting qualifications of full flight simulators.
• Assisting with software integration and validation on local flight training devices and other locations as required.
