Job summary

Applied Intuition UK is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and deploy high-performance C++ software for autonomous capabilities. You will collaborate with a skilled UK defence-focused team in London, contribute to field deployments, and advance product development using modern tooling.

You will work in an in-office environment, with opportunities to engage across projects and customers, while leveraging Docker, Linux, and CI/CD practices to deliver robust software offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related engineering field.
• 2+ years of hands-on C++ experience or strong willingness to learn C++.
• Strong OOP and clean code design principles.
• Experience with Docker and Linux-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize high-performance libraries, modules, and products, through from incubation to production.
• Write, test, and debug efficient modern C++ code for complex software solutions with AI tooling.
• Work closely with product managers and customers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Contribute to build automation, continuous integration, and deployment pipelines, as needed.
• Build awesome software that you are proud of.
