Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing performant modern C++, or willingness to learn C++
• Strong procedural and object-oriented programming experience with clean code and good OO design patterns/principles
• Experience developing in Docker and containerized development environments, and using Linux-based operating systems

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and optimization of new tools and products from incubation to production
• Identify and improve inefficient processes and code to keep the team at peak performance
• Integrate software from customers and other teams into the products we build
• Write, test, and debug efficient modern C++ code for complex software solutions with AI tooling
• Collaborate with product managers and customers to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Mentor junior engineers and help grow the UK engineering team with a culture of learning
• Build software you are proud of and that users rely on
