Job summary

Actemium Automation Hampshire, part of VINCI Energies, is seeking a skilled Software Controls Systems Engineer to design, develop and commission PLC/SCADA/HMI solutions for manufacturing, process and regulated sectors. You’ll join a supportive, wellbeing‑focused team within a global group known for safety, innovation and professional growth.

The role covers software delivery from design to handover, configuration of PLCs and networks, FAT/SAT testing, documentation and client collaboration, with

Qualifications

Degree in Controls/Software/Electronics or similar (preferred).
Full UK driving licence.
Experience with PLC programming across Rockwell/AB, Mitsubishi, Schneider, Siemens.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver control system software from design to handover.
Configure PLCs, SCADA and industrial comms networks.
Conduct FAT/SAT testing, commissioning and site integration.
Provide documentation, technical support and system updates.
Collaborate with clients and multi‑disciplinary teams.
Contribute to continuous improvement and shared standards.
