Automation Experts in Oxfordshire is seeking a hands-on Controls & Automation Engineer to manage the full lifecycle of control system projects. You will design, develop, test, and commission PLCs and SCADA/HMI apps for real-world global applications.

The role requires strong PLC/HMI design capability, Siemens TIA Portal expertise, and autonomous work habits. Expect a cash-rich, supportive environment with development opportunities and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Solid ability to write PLC & HMI from concept.
• Preferably experience with SCADA software design.
• Ability to understand and modify electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, test, and commission PLC control systems.
• Develop SCADA and HMI applications.
• Troubleshoot and optimise existing automation systems.
• Support installation and commissioning activities.
• Work with modern SCADA platforms such as Ignition and WinCC.
• Contribute to control strategies and system architecture.
