Job summary

Leaders In Care Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced MASH & Assessment Social Worker for a local authority in the West Country. The role focuses on timely assessments, safeguarding, and multi-agency collaboration, with flexible hybrid working and a low caseload.

You will respond to referrals, conduct initial visits, handle Section 47 enquiries when required, and progress cases along the right pathways.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker with SW England registration.
• Experience in Duty & Assessment, Referral & Assessment, or Front Door.
• Ability to manage risk and make timely decisions.
• Strong assessment and safeguarding skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out timely child and family assessments and interventions.
• Respond to referrals and undertake initial visits.
• Manage duty responsibilities and safeguarding concerns.

Are you an experienced MASH & Assessment Social Worker looking for a role that offers manageable caseloads, flexible working, and strong management support?

The Role

• You will be responsible for carrying out timely assessments and interventions, including:
• Completing Child and Family Assessments Responding to referrals and undertaking initial visits
• Managing duty responsibilities and safeguarding concerns
• Conducting Section 47 enquiries where required
• Risk assessment and decision-making
• Multi-agency partnership working
• Progressing cases to the most appropriate service pathway
• Working closely with children, families, and partner agencies
