Job summary

Leaders In Care Recruitment Ltd are recruiting an experienced Social Worker for the MASH & Assessment Service in the South West. The role focuses on timely, quality assessments with strong managerial support in a flexible hybrid setup.

You will handle referrals, carry out initial visits, manage duty and safeguarding duties, and collaborate with partner agencies to ensure the right service pathway is chosen for children and families.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
• Experience in Duty & Assessment, Referral & Assessment, or Front Door services.
• Strong assessment and risk management skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out timely child and family assessments.
• Responding to referrals and undertaking initial visits.
• Managing duty responsibilities and safeguarding concerns.
• Conducting Section 47 enquiries when required.
• Risk assessment and decision-making.
• Multi-agency partnership working.
• Progressing cases to the most appropriate service pathway.
• Working closely with children, families and partner agencies.

The Role
