Job summary

Leaders In Care Ltd is recruiting an experienced MASH & Assessment Social Worker for a 6-month contract with flexible hybrid working patterns on the South Coast. The role emphasizes low and manageable caseloads with strong management support to deliver quality child and family assessments.

You will conduct timely assessments, respond to referrals, manage duty responsibilities, and collaborate with multi-agency partners to progress cases along appropriate pathways, with a competitive £42 per hour

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
• Previous experience in Duty & Assessment, Referral & Assessment, or Front Door service.
• Strong assessment and risk management skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out timely assessments and interventions.
• Completing Child and Family Assessments; responding to referrals and initial visits.

Are you an experienced MASH & Assessment Social Worker looking for a role that offers manageable caseloads, flexible working, and strong management support?

We’re working with a highly regarded local authority in the West Country that is currently recruiting experienced Social Workers to join its MASH & Assessment Service.

The Role

• You will be responsible for carrying out timely assessments and interventions, including:


• Completing Child and Family Assessments Responding to referrals and undertaking initial visits

• Conducting Section 47 enquiries where required


• Risk assessment and decision-making


• Multi-agency partnership working


• Progressing cases to the most appropriate service pathway


• Working closely with children, families, and partner agencies
