Wrexham County Borough Council is recruiting a Social Worker to join the Fostering Service in North East Wales. The role supports recruitment, assessment, training and ongoing support for foster carers across several hub locations.

There is a career grade allowing appointment as Social Worker (G09) or Experienced Social Worker (G10) based on awards, qualifications, or demonstrated experience. The council offers a supportive management environment and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Qualified social worker with registration and eligible for safeguarding roles.
• Experience in fostering services or child welfare preferred.
