Job summary

Cygnet Hospital Sheffield is seeking a confident Social Worker to join the Low Secure Adult ward. You will manage a caseload, work within a MDT to develop joined-up treatment plans, and supervise social work assistants.

The role requires registration with Social Work England and a commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality. The post is full-time (40 hours/week), five days, based at Sheffield, with DBS clearance required and a range of employee benefits including pension, discounts and Cycle

Qualifications

• Registered Social Worker with Social Work England.
• Experience in working within a mental health setting.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety, data protection, confidentiality & equality & diversity.

Responsibilities

• Hold a caseload at site, managing all social care requirements for allocated service users.
• Work in collaboration with the MDT and other professionals to deliver a joined-up plan for treatment and support.
• Assist and support social work assistants with managerial and clinical supervision.
• Maintain continued registration with Social Work England and keep up with professional development fees.
