Job summary

We Manage Jobs (WMJobs) is advertising a Permanent, Full-time Social Worker role with Worcestershire County Council in the Malvern Hills area. The post involves managing a caseload, applying the 3 Conversation model, and working with health colleagues to secure supportive packages for adults in the Malvern and Upton upon Severn area.

You will join a supportive team, receive monthly supervision, and benefit from hybrid working with a mix of office and home-based days.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker and registered with Social Work England
• Experience in adult social care is desirable
• Ability to advocate for clients and work in partnership with health and voluntary sectors
• Strong organisational and case management skills

Salary:£32,061 - £41,771 (depending on experience). This offer also includes a £3000 marketforces supplement.

The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Social Worker to join the Malvern Hills Area Social Work Team. Are you enthusiastic, dynamic, and want to join a dedicated and very supportive team delivering Adult Social Care across a picturesque and historic Malvern Hills area of Worcestershire? If so, then this vacancy is just right for you.

In Worcestershire we have adopted the 3 Conversation model of practice which involves a strength-based approach to working with people. You will manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision and have the ability to approve and purchase support packages to support people to make positive changes in their life. You will need to have the confidence to advocate for our clients and work in partnership with health colleagues, other statutory partners, and voluntary sector providers. You will be actively supported and given the opportunities to be creative, innovative and search for strength-based solutions.
