Job summary

Cygnet Hospital Maidstone is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our team on a full-time, 37.5-hour week. You will collaborate with service users, families and other professionals to support recovery, lead social care planning, and safeguard within a multidisciplinary setting.

The role requires registration with Social Work England, a relevant qualification, and a passion for mental health care. A supportive team and development opportunities are provided at Cygnet Hospital Maidstone.

Qualifications

• Registered Social Worker with Social Worker England.
• Experience in mental health settings or strong interest in this field.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety, data protection, and equality & diversity.

Responsibilities

• Work in partnership with service users, families and stakeholders to support recovery.
• Forge links with statutory agencies and maintain contact with them.
• Lead on social care needs of service users and ensure awareness of rights.
• Provide written reports to the multidisciplinary team and other professionals.
• Participate actively in safeguarding within the team.
