Job summary

The National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux in Gateshead is seeking a Social Welfare Adviser to join our team. You will handle inquiries by phone, offering tailored advice on welfare benefits, employment, money advice, housing, energy and more.

We provide training to help you gain the knowledge required to excel, and you will contribute to our mission of promoting equality and social change in the community. This role supports a flexible, 7-day service with a permanent contract.

You will handle inquiries primarily through phone contact offering tailored advice on a wide range of social welfare issues including welfare benefits, employment, money advice, community care, energy, and housing. We are seeking someone with experience in advising on complex issues. We will provide you with training so you are able to gain the knowledge you will require to excel in this role.
