What is the overall job?
As the Social Value & Community Manager, your focus will be to lead and support your project team(s) in managing, measuring, and reporting on all aspects of social value, including employability, community and neighborhood engagement, ethical labor, local procurement, and charitable works.
You will manage interfaces and relationships with the supply chain, project team, and local stakeholders such as councils, community groups, schools, colleges, and universities. You will work with your project teams to deliver social value and community commitments in line with project and corporate requirements. You will be the main contact for community activities and will provide education and support to project teams on delivering social value successfully. You will also act as the main contact for local neighbors. Other responsibilities include:
