Job summary

Caerphilly County Borough Council is seeking a Business Systems Development Officer to develop and maintain management reports using digital platforms, enabling effective monitoring and evaluation of service performance.

The role supports the Social Services and Wellbeing Act, driving service quality and efficiency improvements; you will compile and present information with SQL and reporting tools to inform decision-making across the organisation.

Qualifications

• A Level 4 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales (e.g., HNC).
• Up-to-date knowledge of information systems and current technologies.
• Ability to set priorities and manage own work in a demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain management reports across the organisation.
• Enable monitoring, evaluation and compliance through data insights.
• Provide meaningful data analysis, trend reporting and performance information for decision-making.
• Drive service quality and efficiency improvements in line with policy.
