Job summary

Ealing Council in London is seeking an ASC Systems and Data Analyst to join the Adults' Social Care team on a full‑time basis. The role focuses on turning complex data into actionable insight to support decision making and service improvement.

You will develop Power BI dashboards, lead on national surveys, ensure data quality, and contribute to statutory submissions while helping transform data governance within Adult Social Care.

Qualifications

• Analytical thinker with ability to translate data into insight for service improvement.
• Experience developing dashboards and BI products.
• Ability to benchmark performance and support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborative approach to improving data use across teams.
• Familiarity with statutory data returns and governance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Producing in-depth analysis and interpretation of complex data from multiple systems and sources.
• Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports and business intelligence products.
• Providing benchmarking and performance information to support service improvement and strategic decision-making.
• Working with managers to improve the use of data and insight across Adult Social Care.
• Leading on national surveys, ensuring accurate returns and compliance with submission deadlines.
• Supporting statutory data submissions to NHS England, the Department of Health and Social Care and other government departments.
• Promoting data quality, identifying issues and delivering training and guidance where required.
• Supporting Freedom of Information requests, equalities monitoring and data governance requirements.
• Contributing to service improvement and transformation programmes.
