Job summary

QVC UK is seeking a Social Media Assistant to support the Digital and Social team in delivering paid and organic social campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, and to help grow QVC’s shoppable social platforms.

This hybrid role is onsite at Chiswick Park, West London two days a week, offering exposure to live shopping activities, campaign reporting and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• Experience with paid social media campaigns and familiarity with key platforms.
• Ability to analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights.
• Strong writing and communication skills for promotional content.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, scheduling and deployment of paid and organic social campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
• Assist with creation and optimization of paid social advertising, including asset management and audience targeting.
• Monitor campaign performance, compile reports, and provide actionable insights to improve results.
• Monitor QVC catalogues across TikTok Shop and YouTube Shop, check stock and product information.
• Coordinate product orders and samples for campaigns and shoots.
• Support finance processes including purchase orders, invoicing and budget maintenance.
• Manage links, campaign documentation and administration.
• Coordinate creators and affiliates through TikTok Affiliate Centre and Lark.
• Help manage live shopping events and content banking with social and PCC teams.
• Research emerging paid social trends and platform updates.
• Collaborate with Digital and SEO teams to maximize visibility and searchability.

• The Social Media Assistant supports QVC UK and the Digital and Social team, helping to deliver paid and organic social campaigns while supporting the growth of QVC’s shoppable social platforms, including TikTok Shop and YouTube Shop.

What You'll Do

• Support the planning, scheduling and deployment of paid and organic social campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
• Assist with the creation and optimisation of paid social advertising, including asset management, copywriting and audience targeting.
• Monitor campaign performance, compile weekly and monthly reports, and provide actionable insights.
• Monitor QVC catalogues across TikTok Shop and YouTube Shop, checking stock, offers and product information.
• Support TikTok Shop activity, including live shopping, advertising campaigns, product updates, promotions, creators and affiliates.
• Coordinate product orders and send-outs for samples, shoots, competitions and paid campaign assets.
• Support finance processes, including purchase orders, invoicing and campaign budget maintenance.
• Manage tracked links, campaign documentation and general administration.
• Support the coordination of creators and affiliates through TikTok Affiliate Centre and Lark.
• Help manage live shopping events and content banking with the social and PCC teams.
• Research emerging paid social trends, platform updates and new advertising features.
• Collaborate with Digital and SEO teams to maximise campaign visibility and searchability.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects that drive innovation and customer engagement.

What You'll Bring

• Experience of, or a strong interest in, paid social media campaigns, including platforms such as Facebook Ads Manager and TikTok Ads.
• Knowledge of social media platforms, content management systems and campaign analytics.
• A creative mindset, with excellent promotional writing and communication skills.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and an analytical approach to monitoring campaign performance.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build effective relationships across teams.
• A self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and contribute positively within a fast-paced team.
• An interest in social commerce, live shopping, affiliate marketing and emerging digital platforms.
