We’re looking for a creative Social Media and Content Manager to bring Ottolenghi’s digital presence to life. This role is responsible for capturing, planning, and implementing creative social strategies across platforms, ensuring each campaign resonates with our audience. You’ll focus on increasing brand awareness, expanding our social network, and driving community engagement, all while generating fresh, innovative ideas that elevate our brand’s presence and connect with our followers.

You’ll lead the day-to-day execution of social media and influencer campaigns, manage community interaction, and ensure our tone and aesthetic shine through across all channels. As part of our small but mighty and fast-paced team, you’ll work closely with the content, marketing, and Test Kitchen teams to shape our organic and paid social media output, ensuring it resonates both locally and globally. Your ability to adapt quickly and collaborate across teams will be key in capturing content on-site and during events, all while keeping things moving at speed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to grow awareness, engagement, and community across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn and YouTube.
  • Lead the creation and development of engaging campaigns and creative content that aligns with Ottolenghi’s brand vision. Brief and collaborate with content creators to ensure high-quality, on-brand stills and video content optimized for each platform.
  • Support content capture across Ottolenghi sites and events, contributing to the creation of stills and video content optimised for different platforms.
  • Plan and maintain the social media calendar, ensuring consistent, timely posting while responding to trending topics and cultural moments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver engaging campaigns, promotions and partnerships.
  • Stay across trends, tools and emerging platforms to keep Ottolenghi’s content fresh and relevant.
  • Lead community management - engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages in a timely, brand-appropriate manner, fostering meaningful interactions and relationships.
  • Monitor and analyse performance across platforms using analytics tools, providing insight and optimising content accordingly.
  • Support content capture and coverage at events and launches.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in social media management, ideally within food, fashion, hospitality or lifestyle sectors.
  • Are highly creative with an ability to translate ideas into compelling content.
  • Content creation experience using native social platform tools like TikTok studio, CapCut and Instagram Edits. Adobe Suite is a plus.
  • Forward-thinking and digitally curious - able to anticipate trends and adapt strategies.
  • Confident writing and editing content for different platforms and audiences.
  • A strong understanding of platforms, trends and best practices, with a sharp eye for visual storytelling.
  • Confident communicator who can rally teams, drive deadlines, and build strong relationships both internally and externally, ensuring smooth coordination when capturing content on-site and during events.
  • Skilled in using social management and analytics tools.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
