Job summary

The Dorchester Collection is seeking a Social Media and Content Executive to manage vibrant content across The Dorchester, Coworth Park and 45 Park Lane. You will develop engaging social media content and work closely with the brand marketing team to ensure alignment with overall strategy.

You will attend shoots and events to capture visuals, edit content for multiple channels, and uphold the brand’s premium look and voice across all platforms.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Social Media and Content Executive, preferably in a luxury hotel.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Strong ability to manage multiple social channels and partner with marketing teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage social media activities for The Dorchester, Coworth Park & 45 Park Lane to ensure guests receive the best experience.
• Implement social media strategy and create engaging content for social channels.
• Collaborate with brand marketing on content and align with paid social activity overseen by the Digital team.
• Attend shoots with hotel operations to ensure smooth delivery and edit content as needed.
• Cover hotel events to capture and edit relevant content, using camera and iPhone.
• Guard the brand visuals across channels and maintain a consistent look and feel.
• Post regularly on The Dorchester, 45 Park Lane and Coworth Park channels.
• Write engaging social copy aligned to brand voice.

What you'll do

As Social Media and Content Executive, you'll love what you do and take pride in taking care of our guests.

• You will be responsible for managing social media activities for The Dorchester, Coworth Park & 45 Park Lane to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
• Implement Dorchester Collection social media strategy, creating engaging and relevant content for social media channels
• Work with brand marketing team on content creation and ensure alignment with the paid social activity overseen by the Digital team
• Attend and manage content shoots working with the hotel operations team to ensure a smooth delivery
• Attend hotel events to capture and edit relevant content. Ability to shoot on camera and iPhone
• Brand guardian of the visual aesthetic of all social media channels, curating a look and feel appropriate and aligned with Dorchester Collection’s wider visual strategy
• Management of regular posting on The Dorchester, 45 Park Lane and Coworth Park channels
• Write creative, engaging and accurate social copy, captions that are aligned to our brand tone of voice

• Previous experience as a Social Media and Content Executive, preferably in a luxury hotel
• Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have great communication skills with a strong customer service ethic.
• English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Previous experience managing high profile social media channels
• Comfortable presenting ideas and engaging with stakeholders at all levels
• Proven track record of executing successful social media campaigns
• Excellent attention to detail
• An eye for a pleasing aesthetic across social
• Previous experience with reporting platforms
• Good working knowledge of Lightroom a bonus, image resizing and uploading
• Highly organised, and able to thrive in a dynamic, constantly changing environment
