Job summary

18 Recruitment Limited is hiring a skilled Multi-Trade Operative for long-term social housing maintenance tasks. You will deliver responsive repairs, void refurbishments, and a mix of carpentry, plumbing, plastering, and other essential trades.

The role is permanent with a company van and fuel card provided, plus paid holiday entitlement. Candidates must have previous social housing experience and a clean DBS check, with a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience as Multi-Trade Operative in social housing repairs and maintenance.
• Must have own basic trade tools and driving licence.
• Clean DBS check is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out responsive repairs in occupied social housing properties.
• Complete void property refurbishments to standards and timescales.
• Undertake carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, painting and general maintenance as required.
• Diagnose faults and identify repair solutions with minimal supervision.
• Ensure all work is safe and compliant with procedures.
• Provide good customer service in tenants' homes.
