18 Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Multi-Trade Operative for a permanent role delivering responsive repairs, void refurbishments, and planned maintenance across social housing properties in Birmingham. You will work on varied trades, prioritise quality workmanship and customer service, and operate with handheld devices to complete job sheets.

Qualifications

• Experience in social housing repairs and maintenance.
• Core trades: carpentry, plumbing or general building.
• Own basic trade tools are required.
• Full clean UK driving licence and DBS check preferred.

Responsabilités

• Carry out responsive repairs in occupied social housing properties.
• Complete void property refurbishments to agreed standards and timescales.
• Undertake a variety of trade works including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, painting and decorating.
• Diagnose faults and identify repair solutions.
• Ensure work is completed safely and complies with company procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service when working in tenants' homes.
• Accurately complete job sheets and paperwork using handheld devices.
• Work independently and manage daily workloads.
