Job summary

The Brandon Trust in Camborne is seeking a Team Leader to provide visible leadership, coach and develop a team of Support Workers in our social care services.

You will lead on delivering person-centred support, maintain standards and drive quality across the service, while coordinating daily activities, resources and compliance to ensure outstanding outcomes for the people we support.

Flexible shifts for 24/7 coverage with enhanced DBS and ongoing training are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable supervisory or management experience in social care.
• Experience supporting people with a learning disability.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
• Confidence in problem-solving, decision-making and communication.
• Resilience to manage challenges and competing priorities.
• A relevant social care qualification.
• A management qualification (or willingness to work towards one).

Responsibilities

• Leading and empowering the people we support to live the lives they choose.
• Providing strong leadership and day-to-day supervision to a team of Support Workers.
• Supporting the Locality Manager with supervision, coaching and mentoring.
• Modelling best practice through direct support where required.
• Coordinating daily support and activities to ensure a high-quality, responsive service.
• Managing resources, finances and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
