Job summary

THE BRANDON TRUST in the Midlands is seeking a Team Leader in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, to provide day-to-day leadership to a team of Support Workers and to help people we support live the lives they want. The role is full time, Monday to Friday, on a temporary contract ending March 2027 with potential extension.

You'll coach, supervise, and develop colleagues, coordinate services, and ensure high-quality, person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with a learning disability.
• Experience helping people develop their skills and confidence.
• Hold a relevant social care qualification.
• Management qualification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Empower the people we support to live the lives they want to lead.
• Provide effective leadership and day-to-day supervision to a team of Support Workers.
• Support the Registered Manager with coaching, mentoring and developing colleagues.
• Lead by example and model best practice in person-centred support.
• Coordinate support and activities to ensure high-quality, responsive services.
• Monitor standards, outcomes and quality across the service.
• Support with managing resources, finances and staffing arrangements.
• Ensure legal, regulatory and organisational requirements are met.
• Promote a positive, inclusive and supportive culture for both the people we support and your colleagues.
