Job summary

Proactive Global is recruiting an SMT Operator for a permanent role based in Stevenage. The position offers career progression within a market leading manufacturing company and a salary of £28,000 - £31,000. Working hours are 08:00am to 16:30pm.

You will operate SMT paste printers, load components, run SMT machines and reflow ovens, and perform visual inspections to IPC 610 standards, with adherence to quality, environmental and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• To work to SMT department working practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate SMT paste printers
• To check and load components, operate SMT machines
• To operate SMT reflow ovens
• To conduct visual inspection to ensure good quality product, working to IPC 610 standard.
• To hand fit components when required
• Follow the Company's environmental policy, procedures and instructions to minimise environmental impacts from its activities.
• Adhere to AS/EN 9100 & ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures.
